This policy explains how Terra Universal, Inc. ("Terra Universal", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information through terrauniversal.com and our online store, our CleanWatch+ monitoring service, and our sales and support interactions. It replaces all prior versions.

We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

• Website and store: your name and contact details (email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses), your orders, demographic information such as postcode and interests, and anything you tell us in surveys, quote requests, or support enquiries.
• CleanWatch+ accounts: your name, email address, company, and role, and the information needed to sign you in securely, such as a mobile number if you choose text-message verification. Accounts are set up by Terra Universal or by an administrator at your organization.
• CleanWatch+ alert recipients: our customers can list email addresses to receive CleanWatch+ alerts, including people who do not have an account. We use these addresses only to send those alerts, never for marketing. The customer that adds an address is responsible for having permission to do so. If you receive alerts and want your address removed, contact us and we will act on your request.
• CleanWatch+ monitoring data: environmental readings reported by monitoring devices, with device identifiers and times. These readings describe a customer's environment, not a person. Terra Universal owns this data, as described in the CleanWatch+ Terms of Use.
• Correspondence: records of messages and support requests you send us.
• Cookies and usage information: described in section 7.

2. How we use information

• To provide, operate, and support our website, store, and CleanWatch+, including sending the alerts our customers set up.
• To process orders, payments, and shipping.
• To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
• To understand how our website is used and tailor it to your interests.
• To protect our services and our customers against security incidents, fraud, and misuse.
• To send marketing communications, and occasionally to contact you for market research, where your Communication Preferences permit. You can change these at any time in your account profile or by contacting us.
• To comply with the law and enforce our agreements.

We may use CleanWatch+ monitoring data for any purpose, including providing the service, developing and improving our products, research, and benchmarking. We do not disclose monitoring data that identifies a customer to other customers or third parties, except as described in section 3 or in aggregated or de-identified form. We do not use monitoring data to identify or profile individual people.

3. How we share information

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers that help us run our business, such as hosting, email delivery, payment processing, shipping, and website analytics providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• Authorities or others where the law requires it, or where needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of Terra Universal, our customers, or others.
• A successor business if Terra Universal is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not provide it to data brokers.

4. Retention

We keep website and store information for as long as we need it for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We keep CleanWatch+ account information, such as user names and email addresses, while the account is active. When an account is closed, or when we receive a verified deletion request, we delete it within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. CleanWatch+ monitoring data is not personal information, and we may keep it after an account is closed.

5. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encryption and multi-factor authentication for CleanWatch+ accounts. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

6. Your privacy rights

To make a request, email [email protected] or write to us at the address in section 11. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will not discriminate against you for making one. If your CleanWatch+ account was set up by your employer, we may need to refer your request to that organization and will tell you if we do.

6.1 California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to get a copy of it; to correct it; and to have it deleted, subject to legal exceptions. You also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do neither. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you. We respond within 45 days and may extend that once where the law allows.

In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name and email address); customer records (such as addresses and order details); commercial information (such as purchase history); internet activity (such as how you use our website); and professional information (such as your employer and role). We collect them from you, from your organization, and automatically from your browser, for the purposes in section 2. We disclose them only to the recipients in section 3, and keep them as described in section 4. CleanWatch+ sign-in credentials are used only to sign you in and protect your account.

6.2 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, and port your personal information, and to object to our processing of it. We process personal information to perform our contracts with you or your organization; for our legitimate interests in running, securing, and improving our services and in delivering the alerts our customers set up; with your consent, for marketing, which you may withdraw at any time; and to meet legal obligations.

Terra Universal is based in the United States, and personal information is processed there. We transfer information from these regions using safeguards recognized by applicable law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, which we will enter into with business customers on request. We respond to requests within one month, extendable by two months for complex requests. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, though we would welcome the chance to resolve your concern first.

7. Cookies

A cookie is a small file placed on your device that lets a website remember you and your preferences. We use the cookies below to run the store, and we use analytics services, which set their own cookies, to understand how visitors use our website. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the store will not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

Our website does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common standard for them. We do not track you across other websites for advertising.

The CleanWatch+ application uses your browser's storage only to keep you signed in and remember your display preferences. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

8. Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Links to other websites

Our website may link to other websites. We do not control those websites, and this policy does not apply to information you give them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle CleanWatch+ customer data, we will notify affected customers directly.
